About This Project

Lower.com Field was the recipient for the 2022 Single Field Facility of the Year award from the American Sports Builders Association. SCG Fields role in this project was as the General Contractor and SCG self-preformed the entirety of the playing field construction. This included fine grading, installation of all fabrics, drainage materials, perimeter concrete service track with synthetic turf, soccer goals, football and rugby goal sleeves, field heating components, aggregate and rootzone materials, as well as the sod installation and grow in maintenance. The construction of the playing surface was conducted simultaneously with the construction of the stadium structure as well as surrounding ground elements and facilities. Close coordination and cooperation throughout the project were necessary or all trades to be successful and meet an aggressive construction schedule. This also required multiple mobilizations and phasing so that portions of our work could be installed before the building structure or work of the other trades made access impossible.
