George Pfeffer

After graduating with a degree in architecture, George started working in site construction in 1979 as an estimator and project manager. After joining S.W. Franks Construction (a predecessor firm to SCG Fields) in 1991, George was heavily involved in the transformation of that firm from a heavy site/civil contractor to a specialty sports field systems contractor in the mid-1990’s. He was also instrumental in the transition of S.W. Franks into a division of Southwest Recreational Industries (SRI) in 1998. George then became one of the originating partners and principals of Sports Construction Group when it was formed in 2004. George is a registered Architect in the State of Ohio and a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida. Today George continues in a senior advisory role for design, estimating, and project management functions at Sports Contracting Group, LLC / SCG Fields, LLC.
