Trey Altman

Trey has been with SCG Fields since 2019 and operates as a Regional Construction Manager and Turfgrass Manager. He is a graduate of Sandhills Community College where he majored in Landscape Gardening with a focus in Turfgrass Management. Trey has 10+ years of experience in the turfgrass industry. He has spent time at NC State University as the assistant groundskeeper, the Town of Morrisville, Sarasota County, and in MiLB with the Augusta Green Jackets as the Head Groundskeeper. He also brings experience preparing fields for Major League Baseball at various special venues. He works closely with our Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure each job is completed on-time and under budget. Trey holds OSHA 30, CPR / AED, and First Aid Certifications. He also carries a Florida Restricted Use Pesticide License and is a North Carolina Nursery and Landscape Association Certified Plant Professional.
